Legacy Chapel Funeral Home – Madison, AL

This project (performed in collaboration with architect Danny Osborn of Athens, Alabama) is a complete funeral home / mortuary facility and featured the challenge of providing for multiple on-going functions and mixed occupancy. It contains assembly areas (a large vaulted chapel and various parlor/reception/hospitality spaces), business offices with counseling, reception and casket selection space, restrooms and nursery area, body preparation lab area and crematorium, hearse garage area, refrigerated storage, flower receiving, and an in-facility apartment for overnight staff. Under construction in the fall of 2015.
